Arguably the best lightweight of all time, International Boxing HOFer Benny Leonard is also regarded as his sport's greatest Jewish fighter. He won two out of his three bouts against Jack Britton, and it may well be that this poster is contemporary with their match-up in 1922—the same year that Ring Magazine debuted. Includes: 1) Unusually large, 20x30 colorized photo in weathered, ornate period frame. Peripheral surface staining. 2) Ring, Inc. 14x17 glossy photographic poster with period hand-printed name caption, "Benny Leonard and Jack Britton." Apparent EX. Framed slightly larger.

Frames included with lots: while we make every effort to protect the frames included in these lots during pre-auction storage and post-auction shipping, we are not responsible for any damage to the frames themselves, and no refunds will be given due to frame damage.
