Never before has such an encompassing accumulation of original factory packaging of this period type associated with baseball cards and related collectibles been offered. Major important is afforded this generally well-preserved group, which consists of 1880s-1920s package types that contained premiums such as the classic T206 card series, T205 gold borders, T207 brown backgrounds, T201 double folders, T212 minor leaguers, T215 Pirate backs, T332 stamps, E254 pins, B18 blankets and N28 cards, issued with top name brands of the day. American Beauty,  (pre-period) included for containing T206s with period examples virtually non-existent, c.late-1890s with Act of July 24, 1897 tax stamp and "Famous Old Belt Tobacco" slogan (VG)

Cycle (pre-period) contained T206s and also very hard to come by, c.1880s with Act of March 3rd, 1883 Tax Stamp, Factory No. 30 (FR)

El Principe De Gales (period) contained T206s, c.1909-1911 with Act of March 2, 1901 tax stamp, Factory No.17 2nd District (GD-VG)

Old Mill (period) contained T206s, c.1911 with Act of Aug. 5, 1909 Series of 1910 tax stamp, Factory No. 25, 2nd District VA, presents VG detail with bold colors/graphics, however end flaps are absent

Piedmont (period) contained T206s, c.1910 with Act of Aug. 5, 1909 tax stamp and Allen & Ginter stamp, Factory No. 42, 4th district NC (GD-VG)

Soveriegn full pack of ten cigarettes, (pre-period) contained T206s, with Act of March 2, 1901 tax stamp with Jan. 1, 1902 overdate, bright and solid (EX) with small stains at bottom and nice overall gloss

Tolstoi "Russian Cigarettes" (period) contained T206s, c.1909-1911 with undated tax stamp with a "10" value,  Factory No. 30, District NC, very appealing, solid with vivid colors, nice gloss, great graphics (EX)


(2) Sweet Caporal (both period) contained T206s, c.1909-1910 with Act of Aug. 5, 1909 tax stamp: 1.) Factory No. 30 2nd District with split on long side panel (GD) presents better; 2.) and Factory No. 42, 4th District NC with three cigarettes in original foil liner, tray is partial with one end flap absent, otherwise presents (VG)

Mecca (period) contained T201s, c.1911, no tax stamp, Factory No. 30, District NC, presents VG-EX detail with vivid colors and clean surfaces, however both flaps are absent

Hassan (period) contained T205s, with Act of Aug. 5, 1909 Series of 1910 tax stamp overdated 6/26/1911, Factory No. 30, 2nd District NY, very pleasing with nice colors and gloss (VG-EX+)


Honest Long Cut full soft pack of tobacco (period) contained T205s, c.1911 with Act of Aug. 5, 1909 Series of 1910 tax stamp, Factory No. 60, 2nd District NY, excellent graphics, sealed in clear plastic wrap, presents EX-MT detail with deference to a small tear at top right on obverse

Recruit (period) contained T207s,  with Aug. 5, 1909 tax stamp overdated 2/1/1912, Factory No. 240, 1st District PA (FR) with surface loss and one end flap absent


Obak "Mouthpiece Cigarettes" (period) contained T212s, c.1909-1911 with Act of Aug. 5, 1909 tax stamp, Factory No. 171, 1st District CA, nice graphics and strong colors, presents VG-EX with top end flap absent

Pirate (period) contained T215s, marketed by W.D. & H.O. Wills of Bristol and London for servicemen on duty overseas, c.1910-1913, presents solid EX+ detail with deference to a very small bit of surface loss at one corner


Helmar "Turkish Cigarettes" (period) contained T332s, c.1911 with Act of Aug. 5, 1909 tax stamp, Factory No. 7, 3rd District NY, presents VG-EX detail with deference to light traces of paper reside on the front and 30% surface loss on the back 

Allen & Ginter "The Richmond" (post-period) contained N28s c.1920s with undated tax stamp with "20" value, Factory No. 25, District VA, solid with one partial edge split, decent colors/graphics and good gloss (VG)

Egyptienne Straights (post-period) contained B-18s, c.late-1910s with Act of 1917 tax stamp Factory No. 2153, 5th District NY (VG+)

Nebo (period) contained B18s, c.1914 with Act of Aug. 5, 1909 tax stamp, Factory No. 21, 5th District NJ (VG)


Duke's Cameo (period) possibly contained "N-type" non-sport cards, with Act of March 3, 1888 tax stamp overdated 5/1/87, Factory No. 42, 4th District NC, very appealing with nice graphics (EX-MT)


Colgans Violet Chips gum tin (period) contained E254s, c.1909 Louisville KY, printed with "The Food and Drugs Act June 30, 1906, Serial No. 5221" (EX)
