Get your rah-rahs out with this fantastic collection of antique and vintage college pennants. In the early part of the 20th Century football was ruled by the college game. At this time many of the powerhouse teams were northern and eastern schools, such as the Ivy League, the Military Service Academies, the Big 10 and others. This inspiring assortment of athletic supporters is fronted by flags of prominent teams that were held in high esteem during the period.

Altogether very pleasing, this 1900s-1960s lot of (12) consists of full-size, over-size and 3/4-size pennants. Many appear to be scarce to rare examples, especially the over-size pieces, making this lot an excellent find. As you would expect of pennants of such considerable age, they are affected by minor to moderate scattered moth holes that are generally unobtrusive and otherwise the group presents well. Grades are assigned with deference to the holes, with:

35" Ohio University over-size olive green and white (VG-EX)
