There was a new team in 1960, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Redskins gained their only victory that year thanks to the Cowboys. While the Cowboys won none that year. Thus began the rivalry that Tom Landry said "you never know when you're going to surrounded by a bunch of Redskins".

October 9, 1960 program: vs. Cowboys. First ever meeting between the two teams. 44 page program. Redskins win 26-14 as Ralph Guglielmi outdueled Eddie LaBaron. Only win for the Redskins that year.
