To give you a sense of the Stilt's giant stature, try this visual image: For our esteemed, average-sized colleague Ron Oser, these pants reach up to his chin and the jersey reaches down to his knees! (Incidentally, Philly-native Oser was in the crowd at the Palestra as Chamberlain's Overbrook High School captured the 1954 City Championship.) The origin of this white warm-up suit was an Anacin pain-reliever ad campaign that coincided with the 1996 Olympics and featured the 12-member "Ex-NBA Players Association" (a.k.a., XPRO). As seen in the accompanying 11x14 photo, Wilt was joined by Bill Russell, Elgin Baylor, Bob Cousy, Bob Pettit, Bill Walton, George Mikan, Jerry West, Rick Barry, Oscar Robertson, John Havlicek and Red Auerbach. Nice red-white-and-blue trim, drawstring waist, and zipper-up legs. No manufacturer's tagging. Some scattered staining.
