The face of a long-suffering franchise and an integral component to its first and only World Series title, Walter Johnson will forever be synonymous with the Washington Senators. This red-and-blue stitched 1919-1924 ONL Heydler Spalding baseball showcases the sweet spot signature of the Hall of Famer. The off-white orb in EX condition features completely legible and bold stampings that are well preserved given the age of the ball. Executed in black steel-tipped fountain pen, Johnson’s scripting shows bold (“7-8”) strength. Comes with a full photo LOA from JSA. This item has a reserve (estimated value: $15,000-$20,000).
